How to Send a Password Reset Link to a Member
If you have a member/user in the system who does not know their password, you can send them a link to set or reset it.
Instructions
Method 1: Via Member Profile Page
Log in to your myClubhouse site with an Administrator-level account.
Use the Search tool
in the toolbar to find the member in question
Click on the member’s name to go to their profile page.
Click on the large blue “Administration” button underneath the member’s name
In the Administration section at the bottom of the page, click Send login details:
From the pop-up box, set the number of days and hours before the password reset token (link) will expire (it is not a good idea to allow the link to work for too long, in case it the member’s email account gets hacked some time in the future).
Click OK.
You will receive a success message once the email has been sent.
The member will receive two emails:
One email containing their username.
A second email containing a link to reset their password. This link contains the “token” which is just an unguessable code which will match the user to their account on myClubhouse.
Method 2: Via Member Directory
Go to the Member Directory
by default this is under the Information menu
if you can’t find it use the URL in you browser’s address bar: <<your myclubhouse URL>>/MemberDirectory, for example:
or search for “Directory” using the search tool
in the menu bar.
From the Member Directory, use its search filter to find the member in question.
Note: you may need to clear the “Current Member?: Yes” filter which is displayed by default.Once you have found the member in the directory, click in the red “Admin” button against their name (this is usually in the right-hand column).
From the Admin menu click “Email login details to member”.
