Diagnosing Sign-Up Issues
Sometimes you have an Event and a Member approaches you and says that they can’t sign up for an Event. While you can always use the Admin Sign-Up function (How to Sign Up For an Event), you may want to work out why. This tool is the easiest way to do that.
Instructions
Navigate to Events > Events Calendar.
Locate the appropriate Event and click it.
Click Cog > Diagnose Sign-up Issues.
Complete the Wizard:
Attendee is Guest: Check if the Attendee you want to investigate is a guest (not a signed up User).
Attendee: If the Attendee is not a guest, enter them here. Start typing their name and select it from the drop-down.
Diagnose: Click to check the Attendee. You need to click this each time you change the Attendee you’re investigating.
Diagnosis: This will show the outcome for the User selected above. If they can’t sign up, the reason will be displayed.
Close: When you have finished, click “Close” to close the wizard and return to the Event page.
