Firearms
The Firearms Add-On Module allows you to keep track of your members and your club’s Firearms, as well as their shooting records. There are also Firearm criteria in Member Lists so that you can target access or emails to owners of particular groups of Firearms.

Settings
Navigate to Admin > Settings > General Club Settings.
Navigate to the “Firearms” tab.
Complete the settings:
Entry Date Limit: Set the maximum number of days before or after a Firearm usage that a Shooting Record can be recorded. This is to prevent users from retrospectively adding Shooting Records to artificially adjust their history.
Usage Reason Options: Each Shooting Record requires a reason for the shoot that can be selected from a pre-defined list. You can add, remove, and edit existing options here. The default options are “Competition” and “Practice”.
Add Usage Reason: Click to add a new Usage Reason.
Range Options: Each Shooting Record requires a range for the shoot that can be entered or selected from a list. You can add to, remove from, and edit existing options on the list here.
Add Range: Click to add a new Range.
Save Changes: Once happy with the details, click “Save Changes” to save the settings.
Firearms
Navigate to Firearms > Browse Firearms.
Click the green “Add” button.
Complete the wizard:
Owner: Choose the owner of the Firearm.
Club Owned: Select if the Firearm belongs to the Club, not an individual.
Privately Owned: Select if the Firearm belongs to a member. In the Owner field, start typing the name of a user and select it from the dropdown.
Firearm Identifier: Enter a name to help identify the Firearm.
Has Serial Number: All Firearms have a unique serial number so they can be identified and tracked. Typically the serial number can be found on the handle, slide, trigger guard, or receiver. Serial numbers can contain both numbers and letters, but the length and structure will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Yes: If the Firearm has a serial number, select “Yes” and then enter it in the Serial Number field.
No Visible Number: If there is no visible serial number on the Firearm, select “No Visible Number”.
Type: Enter the type of Firearm, or select an existing one from the dropdown.
Manufacturer: Enter the name of the Firearm manufacturer, or select an existing one from the dropdown.
Model: Enter the model of the Firearm, or select an existing one from the dropdown.
Calibre: Enter the calibre the Firearm has, or select an existing one from the dropdown.
Action: Enter the type of action the Firearm has, or select an existing one from the dropdown.
Notes: Enter any additional notes about the Firearm.
OK: Once happy with the details, click “OK” to add the new Firearm.
New Firearms can also be added from a user's profile page’s “My Cabinet” section.
Archive
Firearms can also be archived once they are no longer needed, such as if they have been sold. To archive a Firearm:
Navigate to a Firearm from Firearms > Browse Firearms or the My Cabinet section of a user’s profile page.
Click “Archive” next to the Firearm.
Complete the wizard:
Reason: The reason the Firearm is being archived.
OK: Once happy with the details, click “OK” to confirm.
Once a Firearm has been archived, it can be reversed by clicking “Un-archive” next to the Firearm.
Shooting Records
Navigate to Firearms > My Shooting Records or Firearms > Browse Shooting Records.
Click “Add”.
Complete the wizard:
Member: Start typing the name of a user and select it from the dropdown.
Date: Enter the date the shoot took place.
Location: Select either “At the Club” or “At another location” for where the shoot took place. If you choose “At another location”, you will be prompted to enter the location or select an existing one from the dropdown.
Notes: Enter any additional notes about the shoot or the Records.
Firearm: Select one of the member’s Firearms from the dropdown.
Reason: Select one of the reasons for the shoot from the dropdown. The reasons are defined in General Club Settings, as detailed above.
Range: Enter the range that the shoot was on, or select an existing one from the dropdown.
Rounds Fired: Enter the number of rounds that were fired.
Plus: Click the green plus to add additional records from the same date and location for the same member.
OK: Once happy with the details, click “OK” to save the Shooting Record.
New Shooting Records can also be added from the “My Shooting Records” section of a user’s profile page.
Witness
Once a Shooting Record has been recorded, it can be witnessed by another member to confirm that it took place as written. To witness a Shooting Record:
Navigate to a Shooting Record from Firearms > Browse Shooting Records or the My Shooting Records section of a user’s profile page.
Click “Witness” next to the Shooting Record.
The time, date, and user will be recorded as the Witness against the Shooting Record.
In order to witness a Shooting Record, you will need the “Witness a shooting record” Entitlement.
