Google Plus Codes
Similar to what3words, Google Plus Codes is a third-party system that helps identify any exact location in the world (as postcodes and street addresses aren’t always precise enough). Plus Codes are especially useful when describing a location that doesn’t have an address, such as for an Event in the countryside or a specific entrance to a location or site that does have an address.

You can use Plus Codes in place of a postcode in the Venue Map Location field, which is under the “Organisers & Venue” tab when creating or editing an Event or Event Series.

Bookings
When adding Bookable Assets there is an option to add a Location to help members find it, espeically if all of the Assets are at different locations or areas of your club. Plus Codes also have the advantage in additon to or instead of a standard address if either the Asset doesn’t have one or you want a more specific location.

Contact Us
A map to show where your club is on the Contact Us page is really helpful for prospective members to find out where you are located. You can use a postcode, but that may not be precise enough or your club may not have a street address.
Under “Map Link URL in Contact Us Page”, enter the Plus Code into the “Embed Map in Contact Us Page” and save the changes to set the map location on the Contact Us Page.

Resources
Resources can sometimes be at different locations so adding a location/address to them is important to help members find them.
