How to Mark a Member as Deceased

When a member passes away, you can tell the system to put a few things into motion. The most important of these will be that members marked as deceased will not receive any emails sent through your myClubhouse site. Deceased members will also not appear in the site-wide search or member look-up fields.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the member’s profile page, either from the Member Directory or using the site-wide search.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the “Administration” section.

  3. Next to “Deceased”, click the pencil icon.

  4. Select “Yes”.

  5. Click the green tick to save.

  6. This will prevent the member from being sent any emails, appearing in the site-wide search, or member look-up fields. They will remain in the Member Directory.
