Sometimes you have an Event and a Member approaches you and says that they can’t sign up for an Event. While you can always use the Admin Sign-Up function (How to Sign Up For an Event), you may want to work out why. This tool is the easiest way to do that.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to

...

  1. Events > Events

...

  1. Calendar.

  2. Locate the appropriate Event and click it.

  3. Click

...

  1. Cog > Diagnose Sign-up

  1. Issues.

  2. Complete the Wizard:

    1. Attendee is Guest: Check if the Attendee you want to investigate is a guest (not a signed up User).

    2. Attendee: If the Attendee is not a guest, enter them here. Start typing their name and select it from the drop-down.

    3. Diagnose: Click to check the Attendee. You need to click this each time you change the Attendee you’re investigating.

    4. Diagnosis: This will show the outcome for the User selected above. If they can’t sign up, the reason will be displayed.

    5. Close: When you have finished, click “Close” to close the wizard and return to the Event page.
