  1. Navigate to the CMS page you want to add the link to, or create a new one.

  2. Edit the page.

  3. Insert a new block or component.

  2. Select “Text” for the content type.

  3. Click the link icon > “Insert Link”.

  4. Complete the Wizard:

    1. URL: Enter the URL for the page you want the link to go to. Copy and paste is recommended to ensure the URL is exactly right, just remember to check the link works in a fresh tab or window before linking to it from your site.

    2. Text: The text that will displayed on the link. This can be anything and can avoid the messy look of a long URL in the middle of a paragraph of text.

    3. Display link as: Select from the dropdown how the link will look. These are how they will look when each option is chosen.

      1. Simple Link: A text link.

      2. Default Button: A white button with black text.

      3. Primary (blue) Button: A dark blue button with white text.

      4. Info (cyan) Button: A cyan button with white text.

      5. Success (green) Button: A green button with white text.

      6. Warning (orange) Button: An orange button with white text.

      7. Danger (red) Button: A red button with white text.

    4. Open link in new tab: If checked, the link will open in a new tab instead of replacing the page that is currently open

    5. Insert: Once happy with the settings, click “Insert” to add the link to the text component.

  5. Click “Done” to save the block.

  6. Save the page as a draft or publish it.

  2. Click the pencil to edit the block.

  4. Click the link icon > “Unlink”.

An alternative to a link on a CMS page would be to include the shortcut in an image (see the main CMS Guide for help with this: CMS) or as icons using a Common Links widget (see this guide for more information: Common Links Widget/Home Page Links).
