Points Leagues are competitions where players get a certain number of points depending on where they place in each round. These are commonly used for races as points can be assigned based on where each player finishes the race. Penalties and bonuses can also be awarded and included in the final calculations.

  1. Click the orange “Edit Settings” button.

  2. Complete the wizard:

    1. Points Scale: Click the green “Add” button to add more positions to the Points Scale. Then you can define how many points the player or team gets for finishing in that position.

    2. Drop Count:The drop count specifies how many results should be dropped when calculating the final score. If it is set to 3, it will drop the 3 worst scores for each competitor. This can be used to make competitions a little fairer, as all players or teams may not be able to attend every round.

    3. Bonus Points: If you wish to offer Bonus Points, give them a name here. These are displayed separately but are added to each player’s total.

    4. Penalties: If you have Penalty Points, give it a name here. These are displayed separately but are subtracted from each player’s player or team’s total.

    5. OK: Once happy with the settings, click “OK” to save the configuration.

  1. Click the light blue “Results” button.

  2. Scroll to find the Class you are looking for, and go to the Results table.

  3. Locate where the player or team and the round intersect on the grid.

  4. Click in the box.

  5. Complete the wizard:

    1. Position: Where the player finished in the round.

    2. Points: How many points the player was awarded for this round.

    3. Bonus Points: How many bonus points the player or team was awarded for this round.

    4. Penalties: How many penalty points the player or team was deducted for this round.

    5. OK: Once happy with the details, click “OK” to save the Result.

  6. Repeat steps to add all Results, or use the Import Results feature.
